I could not open the 2009 interviews without starting from  the person who first believed in the project DeuceNews: Luca Calabrese Webmaster of our KISSWEB-IT.

Here we are finally with this little chat 'with you.
Tell us how you started the KISSWEB adventure!
The Kissweb Italy was born in 1997, the original idea was to make a fanzine in Italian language, but I would have crashed against Nico Ciccarone so I convinced myself to make a website, which also I had already started to design. There are too many bureaucratic bullshit to publish magazines like "Fanzines", publishers ... records in the courts and various bullshit ... it was better at the end of the day this way and it costs less to me and I do not have the unsold copies living in my home :)) There's also the fact that we are living in the digital age and the news on paper are already old when printed.
I remember last year when I suggested the idea of managing the news section of the KISSWEB your approach was a little 'disenchanted with respect to my enthusiasm ... "I was once like you too,..." What made you change over the years your KISS live?
Usually when you are asked for a favour by a person, it is expected a return. In 1997 when Mike Brandvold asked me to cooperate in translating Kissonline news, I start receiving at home a lot of things ... Christmas postcards from KISS, merchandise, discounts up to 35% on anything and so on .... as the years passed it did not receive thm anymore:
The climax came when they [kissonline] did not even replied to my requests (even simple) and then I noticed a change of management in Kissonline, of which I was not even been warned. If you do something for the pure passion, you do not mind not getting anything back, but if you're asked, the situation changes. Mike had asked me to translate ... and so I did. But even if
I continue to do so, I do not expect some great things ... now I do it  for passion, for the FANS and inertia:))
You're part of the fringe of the diehard Frehley’s fans , that Luca C. on Ace site?

What do you expect from the imminent, hopefully, Ace CD?
Oh he has published the "letter"? AHAHAHAH! I did not expect it would! Yes, I'm really a big fan of Ace, I hate the current situation which sees Tommy in his shoes, Tommy must be allowed to play in his style!
I expect great things from Ace CD, Ace seems having improved over the years, you may see it from the video of his recent concerts. The more you expect one thing, the more you enjoy it. Ace CD will sell more than Asshole, Live to win and One for all put together!
You have often criticized the extreme cynicism and attachment to money by Gene $immon$ in many posts in the forum.
What has most disappointed you of Uncle Gene?
"Uncle" Gene has a nice shitty habit, he likes to act as an asshole. I do not conceive it. I know he make charity, he helps people and he is a really good person, but once he is in front of a camera he get transformed. If you can talk to him, make sure that there is no cameras around and  you will know the real Gene Simmons. The fact that it is so attached to his mother
shows what kind of person he should be. The first time I asked for a Photopass that I made via fax in 1996, he replied with a clear "NO". In the second request, where I wrote how an ungrateful asshole he was, he replied "OK” .... ahahah! You need to bite the demon, sometime.
I like you're always sincere in your thoughts and in your writing on the forum, so I go.

What would you like from KISS now? A question like this.
I would now like from KISS one thing: A reunion with all the members past and present. A concert made in several steps, masked and not, old songs and new songs. A new album made seriously, without stupid things like ghost musicians and so on. It 'so difficult to do one thing for which you were born?
And maybe finally that fucking LAMINATED PASS I’m dreaming of since then!!!!!
