LOVE GUN MARKS ITS 35TH ANNIVERSARY

Love Gun is the KISS' sixth studio album, released on June 30th 1977 Love Gun is notable for being the first Kiss album to feature a lead vocal performance from Ace Frehley. This marks the first album for the group to feature lead vocal performances from all four band members. It was also the last studio album to feature the entire original lineup of Kiss on every track, as drummer Peter Criss was replaced by session drummer Anton Fig for most of 1979's Dynasty.

KISS ARRIVED IN OSLO

KISS arrived yesterday in Oslo where tomorrow they will headline the 2nd night of the Kollen Summer Festival. The concert will take place at the Holmenkollen National Arena. The following week KISS will be in London to launch the Monster book and present the new single off Monster, Hell or Halleluyah available as digital download on July 2nd in Europe and on the 3rd in the US, on the 4th of July they will play the HMV Forum in London before heading back to the US to start "THE TOUR" with Motley Crue, all dates here.

KISS TO QUIT AFTER THE MONSTER TOUR?

According to a recent interview with www.vg.no Gene Simmons reveals that KISS might call it a day after the Monster tour.

Gene Simmons:"The big question is what to do when the tour is over. It may be necessary to put down the band and find four new young men who can go up on stage and wear our crowns, then it may be necessary to find the heirs and arrange a KISS Idol".

KISS READY TO ROCK EUROPE!

KISS will headline the 2nd night of the Kollen Summer Festival in Oslo, Norway next Saturday, June 30th, 2012. The concert will take place at the Holmenkollen National Arena - the roof of Oslo - made world famous by its iconic ski jump that can be seen from all over the capital, while on the 4th of July they will play the HMV Forum in London before heading back to the US to start "THE TOUR" with Motley Crue, all dates here.

TODAY IN KISSTORY: 1982 KISS KILLERS IS RELEASED

Killers is the second compilation album by KISS. The album was released only outside the United States, but quickly became available as an import. Of the twelve songs on Killers, four were new compositions recorded specifically for the album. These new songs were recorded at the behest of Phonogram Records, in response to the commercial failure of 1981's Music from "The Elder".

KISS TO DEBUT MONSTER SINGLE, MONSTER BOOK AND PLAY LONDON FORUM ON JULY 4TH!!

Rock Legends KISS are rolling out into London in July and taking over the UK with not just a single release (July 2nd), but also a book release and an intimate show at London’s Forum on July 4th. Gene, Paul, Tommy and Eric will be performing to their KISS Army of fans at the celebrated London venue for one night only as a fundraiser for the Help for Heroes charity. The band has always supported the US troops at their gigs over the years but this year, on Independence Day, the US rockers will be backing our wounded, sick and injured servicemen and women by raising money with this unique concert. "L'ARENA" Verona's newspaper published an exclusive in depth article on the MONSTER BOOK being printed at EBS Editoriale Bortolazzi Stei next to Verona.

The book will be 70x100 cm, 202 pages and more then kg35 of weight!!

Everything is wrapped into secrecy, the Company managers signed an agreement with KISS in which is clearly stated every piece of unused paper, photo, ect must be returned to KISS, no exceptions! Only KISS have the rights to all the materials used and unused for the publication...more

MONSTER BOOK TO BE PRINTED IN ITALY

From Kissonline.com:"KISS got an up close and personal look at a "finished proof" of the massive KISS Monster book last week and were quite impressed. Gene was quoted as saying, "It's fantastic!" After Paul had his first look he said, "This book is way beyond my expectations. The photos are incredible at this size. It's not a coffee table book, it's a coffee table!" The KISS Monster book is a retrospective featuring all the different eras of KISS in makeup, starting in the early years and continuing on to present day. "We selected photos that captured the absolute essence of being in and around a KISS concert," says Tommy. "Ten different editions will be dedicated personally to the KISS Army of the biggest countries we've toured throughout the World," Tommy continues, "each edition will feature a different cover featuring the flag of that nation and inside each book there will be a personally signed, dated and numbered dedication page from the band." The book is presently being custom printed in Italy at EBS Editoriale Bortolazzi Stei, one of the finest book manufacturers in the world. Each individual copy will be handmade with no machines involved in the finishing and binding of the book. Each book will have a character and feel of its own, at the same time retaining explicit high production standards.

KISS TEAMS UP AGAIN WITH UNIVERSAL RECORDS

DeuceNews.com got words (not confirmed by the band) KISS 20th studio album, Monster, will be released via KISS records/Universal. Recently also Simmons Records signed a distribution agreement with Universal and it's more likely both Monster and the Destroyer Deluxe editon will be part of the same deal. Monster is now set for a fall release, once "The Tour" with Motley Crue will be ended.

Sembra più che probabile che sarà la Universal a distribuire Monster. I KISS sono tornati a lavorare con la Universal dopo che anche la Simmons Records ha siglato un accorda di distribuzione. Sia Monster che Destroyer Deluxe editon fanno parte dello stesso accordo. Monster è ora previsto in uscita questo autunno dopo la fine del "The Tour".
