ROCK N ROLL ALLSTARS TRYING TO FIX EQUADOR DATE

Recently Rock-N-Roll Allstars were forced to cancel the shows scheduled in Ecuador, Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala and Venezuela due to contractual problems with local promoters. Currently they are still trying to work out the show in Quito, Equador on April 28, stay tuned for possible updates.

According to MetalTalk.net KISS "are in negotiations to play at the London HMV Forum on July 4th." Recently Gene Simmons has posted the following "KISS and Motley Crue tour starts in July. And before then KISS will be in Europe for a festival or two." After the Sonisphere fiasco we all hope KISS will make it! Stay tuned for updates.

Press release: "Rock N' Roll Allstars are saddened to annouce the cancellation of our performance at Metal Open Air Festival in Sao Luis, Brazil. We regret not being able to attend. We are in South America and are ready to rock, but the circumstances are beyond our control: We were informed before flying to Brazil today that many other artists have pulled out of the event, as well as local security. We are very concerned for the safety of the fans and artists whom are already at the festival. We are receiving confirmed reports from other bands and friends on the ground that the event is dangerous and a disaster. Please be safe, and we look forward to rocking for you in the future.

DICK CLARK DEAD AT 82 (from Billboard.biz)

Dick Clark, the revered TV producer whose "American Bandstand," "American Top 40" and  "New Year's Rockin' Eve" helped shape modern pop music for decades and a great friend for KISS, died of a "massive heart attack" at a Los Angeles hospital on Wednesday, his agent confirmed to Billboard. He was 82.

E' morto oggi di infarto uno dei più grandi presentatori e produttore di programmi musicali in America e grande amico dei KISS, Dick Clark.

According to www.ticotimes.net, local concert promoter Brunca Productions announced Monday the cancellation of a much-hyped May 3 concert featuring members of various rock bands including Kiss, Def Leppard, Metallica, Skid Row, Guns N’ Roses and The Cult, among others. NEVER ENDING MONSTER STORIES: GENE SAYS OUT IN JULY

Recently Gene Simmons talked to Vorterix.com from Argentina promoting the upcoming Rock-N-Roll All Stars Tour and he announced that MONSTER will be out in July along with the MONSTER book and Kissology IV, in addition he confirmed The Tour will go on for two years. Gene Simmons, whose face is going to freeze like that one of these days if he’s not careful, was presented with the ‘Golden God’ award at the Revolver Golden Gods awards, which aired via webcast.

According to a tweet from Nikki Sixx, an interview with Gene Simmons will air on "The Sixx Sense" radio program tomorrow, Friday April 13.

KISS PHOTOSHOOT FOR MONSTER BOOKLET (from Kissonline.com)

During some downtime between dress rehearsal and KISS' live performance on Dancing With the Stars yesterday, KISS had a photo shoot at another studio on the lot. The photo shoot was for the new album, as well as the 2012 "THE TOUR" tourbook and merchandise. Paul Stanley oversaw the shoot, giving creative input and direction. Here are a few shots of the band discussing shoot ideas with photographer Brian Lowe. You'll have to wait a little longer to see the photos from this shoot..!

KISS will present an award at the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas tonight Sunday April 1. The event will be broadcasted on CBS affiliates. On April 9, KISS will perform two songs on the new season of “Dancing With the Stars” on ABC.
