As anticipated here on March 19, KISS will present an award at the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas tomrrow Sunday April 1. The event will be broadcasted on CBS affiliates. On April 9, KISS will perform two songs on the new season of “Dancing With the Stars” on ABC.

SONISPHERE 2012 TO BE CANCELLED

Virtualfestivals.com reports that "insider sources claim Knebworth event this July is to be cancelled". A statement is expected tomorrow about the fate of this year’s festival, which is due to take place at Knebworth House in Hertfordshire from 6-8 July.
Kiss, Queen with Adam Lambert and Faith No More were announced as this year’s headliners last month, but rumours began spreading this morning that the festival would now be cancelled, allegedly because of poor ticket sales. Currently tickets sales are not available...The news have been leaked by Queen official site and then removed.

NEW KISS SERIES FROM IDW IN JUNE!
This June, IDW Publishing is bringing back the rock group KISS in comic form. The series is rooted in KISS fandom, featuring KISS characters like “Wicked” Lester, the Destroyer, She, the Elder, and more, but it will be very accessible to all comic readers. PAUL STANLEY: TALKS MONSTER

Speaking to VH1 Radio Network's Dave Basner following Tuesday's press conference at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, California to announce details of their co-headlining tour with Mötley Crüe, Paul Stanley stated about the band's new CD: "Monster is really the culmination of everything this band has been in the past and where we're going. When we did Sonic Boom, it was a big task for us because we were saying, 'How do we define who we are today without losing who we've been?' So, that was a tall order for us, but once we got that under our belts, we wanted to go back in and 'Monster' is far, far beyond anything we've done in terms of 'Sonic Boom' and yet it's right up there with some of the best stuff we've done. It's KISS."
About a single coming soon, Stanley added: "It should be right around the time of the tour," he said. "It does have a name but we haven't chosen it yet. I think our problem right now is that we have 13 great songs and any one of them has possibilities."

KISS RECREATE THE "MONSTER" PHOTO
Middle of August last year we sent to Kissonline some amazing pictures we found out on the web shot by Frank Zauritz. Oddly enough Kissonline used one of them to announce the title  of the upcoming KISS new album, MONSTER! Excited by the idea we used too that photo adding the Monster mini golf logo on it and a never before seen KISS logo to present MONSTER recordings facts and rumors. The picture soon spreaded all over the web so much that even Eric Singer used it as his fb avatar. Recently "that" image came back in a different format on Kissonline to promote KISSARMY package 2012. Will it wind up on Monster booklet too? Few months and will know!

GREAT KISS NEWS FOR 2012!!! (By Robin Leach Las Vegas Sun)

While countdown is started to Tuesday 20 when KISS will announce The U.S. Monster Tour with Motley Crue, Robin Leach from Las Vegas Sun revealed that:

"*On April 1, in full makeup, they will be back in Las Vegas arriving on the red carpet in a Monster truck to present Best Vocal Group at the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena.
*On April 2 [edited as end of March by KOL], they’ll perform in New Orleans at the NCAA Final Four game.
*On April 9, they’ll perform two songs on the new season of “Dancing With the Stars” on ABC. (Don’t think Las Vegas resident Gladys Knight will samba to the songs.)
*In one month, they start filming a KISS movie with Mark Johnson of the “Narnia” films producing.
*In May, Season 9 of Gene’s “Family Jewels” begins and a 10th renewal looks definite for filming this fall for 2013.
*Their nearly three-month dual headline tour with Motley Crue starts July 19 and includes a stop here, as we reported in a Vegas DeLuxe interview with Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil.
*This fall, they’ll host yet another of their weeklong KISS-abean cruises in the Bahamas over Halloween with thousands of fans already booked."

KISS TO ANNOUNCE U.S. TOUR NEXT WEEK!!

Vince Neil revealed to lasvegassun.com that Motley Crue will be "co-headlining with KISS from July through September on a massive U.S. tour. Expect the official announcement from L.A. next week!!" Stay tuned!!!

As anticipated here KISS will tour with MC from July to September, then KISS will embark on the KISS Kruise II and then Europe, Australia and Japan in 2013.

KISS MOVIE "CADILLAC HIGH" IN THE WORKS (KOL/MLIVE.com)

"Cadillac High," a feature film based on the KISS's 1975 celebratory tour to the city of Cadillac, has received conditional approval for incentives to shoot the movie in Michigan. And since the movie turned in its application to the Michigan Film Office before last year's Dec. 31 deadline, incentives to locate filming of "Cadillac High" won't be subject to the 2012 cap of $25 million budgeted by the state. "It was a project that we wanted to make sure to do everything possible to keep here in Michigan," says Michigan Film Office Communication Adviser Michelle Begnoche. In 1974, the Cadillac High School Vikings, playing KISS albums in the locker room before and after games, won seven straight games and wound up conference co-champs. Word spread to the glitter-rockers of KISS, who visited Cadillac the next year for the most raucous Homecoming weekend on record.

ROCK-N-ROLL ALL STARS TO TOUR EUROPE? (Gerry Gittelson Metalsludge)

Gene Simmons: “This is going to be a great time, a time for us to pay tribute to the fans.” “This is an important honor to step on sacred holy ground with a project like this, and all of it is for the fans. It harkens back to the old days of rock and roll, the Legends of Rock when Chuck Berry, Little Richard, all of them got together to put on the best show possible for the fans.” The only firm dates are the scheduled concerts in South America and Central American in places like Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Costa Rica and Columbia, but the plan is to expand with more shows in Europe, then perhaps America, though details have not been finalized.

“We’re trying to follow a great trend in rock and roll, and we’re going to have a great time,” Simmons said. “So stay tuned.” All infos here
