Eric:Now, with KISS gearing up for another big world tour the PS2000 is now commanding more of my attention and efforts. There are couple of upcoming guitars that I can tell you about at this time - and a couple projects that are not fully approved so, I have to hold on to some of this information. I can tell you that there will be a version of the PS2000 called the 'Starchild'. This guitar will be exclusive to BSG. It will have different inlay and other appointments than the stock PS2000. It's a really cool guitar and I'm anxious to get them into BSG and to get one in Paul's hands. There will be a top-end PS KISS guitar called the PS2500. All I can tell you at this time is think - purple. Think- cool. Think - 'DRAMATIC'! There will be two exclusive runs of PS1900 Import Cracked Mirror guitars.

ONLY FEW MORE DAYS...
We are really in the pipeline to witness the new KISS album birth.
Back in January this year we told you of 13 demo tracks ready to be worked out and to be recorded and mixed by the hottest band in the world, KISS!!!
We were told out of the 13 tracks 9 should have been by Paul, 3 by Gene and one by Tommy.
So far we know that 11 made it on the still to be revealed album.
Tommy wrote and also sung lead on one tune and Eric will have his lead on vocals.
As no title has been revealed we do know the title of one of Gene’s song, “Rotten to the core”.
September will be the month, August will see the single.
Many of us start thinking the title will be something similar to 360° because of the forthcoming trading cards and because of the artist chosen to do the cover, Michael Doret, is the author of Rock
And Roll Over cover….Wait and see the time is over now!!!
Deucenews and all his readers wish a stellar run of this long awaited album; the Wal-Mart distribution deals will help for sure to boost sales and we do hope in a new platinum for KISS.
New album means new tour and Europe is in waiting of the coming back….

NEW STUDIO ALBUM COMING FROM KISS(from www.hughes-and-kettner.com)
Tommy Thayer, lead guitarist of the iconic rock group KISS shows one of his Hughes & Kettner amplifiers that he's using in the recording studio. KISS is currently recording their first studio album in 11 years and according to Tommy, "It will be one of the very best KISS albums to date; harkening back to the classic rock & roll KISS albums of the '70s."

Guilty as charged. My initial plan was to have someone else produce the album, so we could focus only on performing the music. I went and met with some producers but couldn't find anyone that I felt comfortable with, so I decided to go in with the band and record all the basic tracks in two days. Read the rest here

In verità ho dovuto fare buon viso a cattivo gioco. Il mio piano iniziale era quello di avere un produttore per l'album, così avremmo potuto concentrarci solo sulla musica suonata. Mi sono
incontrato con alcuni produttori, ma non ho trovato nessuno con cui sentirmi a mio agio, così ho deciso di andare con la band in studio e registrare tutte le tracce di base in due giorni.

The band is working on a song called "Rotten to the core" but it is not the old one. We are writing all new songs and there are no outsider writers. All is new.
All four of us are involved. We are all really motivated and it will be the best KISS album in a long time.
Psycho Circus was an album without a clear direction and vision. There’re songs on it…you start listening to and you go “what the hell is this??” It will be not the case this time.
We are currently writing songs while staying in the hotel [during the South American Alive35 leg], Gene, Paul and myself sit down with the guitars in the hotel room and write down new tunes for the
album. Yes I’m going to sing on a new tune on the album and it is not titled “Shock Me”!!
It's a great tune, there is something that people missed, and that I am a good singer, I am a good vocalist. I have much experience, but I've never been a solo singer. My voice works well on that and
I think people will be surprised. For what concern new possible costumes for the fall tour a decision will be taken soon, I like so much the costumes from the Rock and Roll Over era, we will
see.
La band sta lavorando su un brano chiamato "Rotten to the core", ma non è quello vecchio. Stiamo scrivendo tutte canzoni nuove e non ci sono compositori esterni. Tutto è nuovo. Tutti noi
quattro siamo coinvolti. Siamo tutti molto motivati e sarà il miglior album KISS da molto tempo a questa parte.
Psycho Circus è stato un album, senza una chiara visione e direzione. Ci sono canzoni che ... inizia ad ascoltare e t viene da dire "cosa diavolo è questo?" Non sarà così questa volta.
Stiamo scrivendo canzoni durante il mostro soggiorno in hotel [durante l' Alive35 Tour in Sud Amrica], Gene, Paul ed io ci sediamo con le chitarre in camera d'albergo a scrivere nuove canzoni per l'album. Sì canterò su un nuovo brano dell'album e non è intitolato "Shock Me"! E'un grande pezzo, penso che ci sia una cosa che molta gente non sa ed è che io sono un buon cantante. Ho molta esperienza, ma non ho mai avuto un pezzo come cantante solista. La mia voce funziona bene e credo che la gente sarà sorpresa. Per quanto riguarda eventuali nuovi costumi per l prossimo tour di supporto all'album presto verrà presa una decisione, a me piacciono molto costumi dell'epoca di Rock and Roll Over, vedremo.

KISS ALBUM: WORK IN PROGRESS UPDATES
In a press release sent out on the 18th of May KISS stated “The band will release exciting news about the album at www.kissonline.com in early June.”
As reported last week, Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley and KISS Manager Doc McGhee made a surprise stop at the at the 39th annual Wal-Mart shareholders meeting in Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville,
Arkansas. Their appearance fuelled speculation that the next KISS album may be a Wal-Mart exclusive; as a matter of fact the artwork and Album title have been already decided and approved so KISS
freaks…the waiting is coming to an end and soon we will know more about the new KISS album in 11 years!!!
An album made in a classic KISS fashion and sound where there will not be "wimpy" ballads but it will be a balls out KISS record where only the KISS members played on it. We will hear for the very
first time Tommy on lead vocals and much more!!!!
Fans and collectors will be not be disappointed as the KISS/Wal-Mart deal will generate a sort of exclusive packaging to boost sales and also a merchandising storm.
Coming from the huge success of American Idol KISS will plan for sure another TV shot to announce the album release and the forthcoming World Tour that will follow and that will last almost two
years!!

Bruce Kulick will be on this weekend's new episode of "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" which airs on Sunday evening on A&E.The GSFJ crew was in the studio last summer when Nick and Gene recorded tracks for Bruce's upcoming BK3 solo album, so you may get to hear a sneak peek of the two songs Bruce recorded with Nick (Hand Of The King) and Gene on vocals (Ain't Gonna Die)!!!

TOMMY WILL SING LEAD ON NEXT KISS ALBUM!
Recently Tommy talked to "Guitarra Total", a Spanish music magazine (thx kissarmyspain.com). He revealed he's going to sing on the next KISS studio album, "It's a great tune, there is something
that people missed, and that I am a good singer, I am a good vocalist. I have much experience, but I've never been a solo singer. My voice works well on that and I think people will be surprised. The
band is working on a song called "Rotten to the core" but it is not the old one. We are recording all new songs. All four of us are involved. It will be the best KISS album in a long time. For what
concern new possible costumes for the fall tour a decision will be taken soon.

I'm finishing songs number 10 and 11 this month and I'm writing lyrics for the final BK3 tunes.
Booking studio this week, doing a photo shoot soon and working on artwork for the full length CD!!!

Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley made a surprise stop at the at the 39th annual Wal-Mart shareholders meeting in Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Though they didn't perform, a camera crew
from Simmons' A&E TV show Gene Simmons Family Jewels followed him around Bud Walton Arena. Their appearance fuels speculation that the next KISS album may be a Wal-Mart exclusive.

KISS made it on the first issue of the CD collection "The Kings of Metal" edited by one the most famous Italian TV/Music magazine "Sorrisi e Canzoni TV".
The magazine is the one that presented the "infamous" Telegatto award to Gene, Paul and Eric during the broadcast of Sanremo music Festival in 1982 where KISS performed via satellite from Studio54 in
New York for the very first time as a trio due to Ace Frehley being M.I.A.!!!

KISS fans have just four more weeks—until voting ends on June 30th— to “Demand” what cities they want to see the tour hit. No matter where the fans say—“from stadiums to cornfields”--if there are enough votes, the KISS tour will be there! And in order to keep the competition fair for smaller cities, final site selection will weigh population size versus total votes. More than 8,000 cities and towns are already represented on the fan-submitted list.

Gene is busy as usual, these are the latest news from the field: "I'm working on a new book for Phoenix Books, developing projects in Vegas, developing a movie I'm producing & creating a new cartoon show...I'm rehearsing, writing and recording with KISS -- first studio album of all new songs in 11 years!! Sometimes I feel like the guy who has all the twirling dishes up in the air...he has to keep moving from one dish to another & twirling em; wish there were more hours in the day!!!
