SONIC BOOM OVER WORLD TOUR UPDATES

Recently Gene Simmons twitted that KISS is rehearsing  for the forthcoming Euro tour and that this tour will be a two years tour. While in London beginning of the month, Tommy talked about the possibility that KISS will tour Down Under and Japan (Tokio and Osaka on August 7th and 9th?). Although Tommy reffered to Japan and New Zeland and Australia back in 2008 while on tour in Europe, this time seems more then an option. Currently KISS are confirmed on Cheyenne, Wyoming on 2010 Frontier Days July 23 and July 24 Minot, North Dakota 2010 State Fair. Tour updates here

Recentemente Gene Simmons su Twitter ha rivelato che i KISS stanno provando per l'imminente euro tour e che questo tour li terrà impegnati per circa due anni. Mentre era a Londra all'inizio del mese, Tommy ha parlato della possibilità che i KISS suonino in Australia e Giappone (Tokio e Osaka il 7 agosto e il 9?). ENTIRE KISS LINE UP TO GUEST GENE SIMMONS FAMILY JEWELS

Paul Stanley will debut on Gene Simmons Family Jewels in the episode titled "The Demon Turns 60" this Sunday night on A&E.. Paul is showed in co-planning with Shannon Tweed Gene's 60 birthday bash on August 25th last year. Being Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer part of the show, this episode mark the first time the whole KISS line up appears on GSFJ.

Questa domenica l'intera line up dei KISS sarà presente in una puntata di Gene Simmons Family Jewels e segna quindi il debutto di Paul nel programma, dato che sia Tommy che Eric erano già comparsi nelle edizioni precedenti.

WHERE ALL STARTED...

Recently I came across the latest KISS tour book and...to my big surprise I found a photo of myself inside. What a blast! I'm the crazy one "paying homage" to the greatest frontman in Rock history, Mr. Paul Stanley. Milan 24th June 2008, second Meet&Greet of my life. Just let the bands see my photobook from the Verona gig, got it signed and...Paul thanks me for being a loyal and long time fan, I "thank" him...and here the photo...This was the day I decided to start DeuceNews.com, this is where all started!!

Recentemente mi sono imbattuto nell'ultimo tour book dei KISS e ... con mia grande sorpresa ho trovato una mia foto dentro. Incredibile! Io sono quel pazzo che "rende omaggio" al più grande frontman della storia del Rock, il Sig. Paul Stanley. Milano, 24 Giugno 2008, secondo Meet & Greet della mia vita. Ho appena fatto vedere alla band  il mio album fotografico del concerto di Verona, me lo hanno autografato e ... Paul mi ringrazia per me essere un fan di lunga data, io "dico grazie a lui" ... ed ecco la foto ... And Gene and Paul are music aficionados—Paul in particular is like a walking music encyclopedia. He can name the most obscure song and tell you who sang it and when it came out." PAUL&TOMMY ACUSTIC SET AT WENTWORTH GALLERY (via BW&BK)

Last night (Saturday, March 20th), legendary KISS frontman Paul Stanley made a special appearance at Wentworth Gallery - Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The event included a rare acoustic performance by Stanley and fellow KISS guitarist Tommy Thayer. The pair performed the following tracks:
'Hard Luck Woman', 'Beth', 'C'mon And Love Me', 'Shandi', 'Say Yeah', 'Shout It Out Loud', 'Comin' Home' (partial), 'Lick It Up', 'Rock and Roll All Nite' and Rock Bottom.

NEW KISS ALBUM IN THE WORKS? (via BW&BK)

Paul Stanley - "I Think That Within The Next Twelve Months We Are Doing Another Album" Marko Syrjälä recently caught up with KISS frontman Paul Stanley for Metal-Rules.com. An excerpt from the interview is available below.
Q: Overall, how satisfied you are for the sales numbers and overall feedback what you’ve got of Sonic Boom? Was there anything surprising there either in positive or negative way?
Stanley: "I’m thrilled because it’s a great album. I said from the beginning whether it sells 10 million copies or 1 million copies, it’s all the same to me. At this stage of the game it about making a great album, anything else is just a bonus. In America we had the album available exclusively at one place which has a good side and a bad side. The good side is they support is, the bad side is, it’s the only place you can get it. So there are plusses and minuses but I couldn’t want a better album, I couldn’t imagine a better album."
Q: Is Sonic Boom going to be the very last KISS album ever?
Stanley: "I don’t think so. I think that within the next twelve months we are doing another album."
Q: Really???
Stanley: "Yeah. I think it will take twelve months to eighteen months."
