Do you know how many guitars KISS used in their career? Almost 300!!
Only Paul used more then 20 different Flying V guitars from the beginning to the current Washburn PSV2200B, while Gene used 16 shaped Axe basses from 1979 "I was made for lovin' you" video to his own trademark in 2009. Now there’s a crazy project around, to have all these guitars plus all drums set pictured and described in one great cool book!!
Behind all this we have found a well known name in the KISS fans circle: Thierry Raynaud, the father of what, we believe, has been one of the more appreciated gift the late Eric Carr received, the astonishing model kit of his 1988 drum kit.

Thierry is a die-hard fan since 1981 and started to work at this book long time ago, but he soon realized that at least 50 % of these instruments were not available any more. They were stolen, destroyed, lost, modified, given or sold, and so…???
Here the crazy idea: to realize a model kit for all the instruments and the drum kits and have them professionally pictured. You might think it's a real strange idea and you might be right, but KISS was a crazy idea too!! All instruments will be realized in the ¼ scale, the same one used for the Destroyer statues released by the toy company Sideshow. Here below just some samples of the amazing job Thierry is doing

Sapete quanti modelli di chitarra i KISS hanno utilizzato nella loro carriera? Quasi 300!
Il solo Paul ha utilizzato più di 20 diverse chitarre Flying V dall'inizio alla attuale Washburn PSV2200B, mentre Gene ha usato 16 bassi a forma di ascia dal video del 1979 di "I was made for lovin' you" sino a quello prodotto con il suo marchio nel 2009. Attualmente c’è un progetto folle in giro, avere tutte queste chitarre più tutte le batterie fotografate e descritte in un'unico grande e strafigo libro!
Dietro a tutto questo abbiamo trovato un nome ben noto tra i KISS fans: Thierry Raynaud, il padre di quello che, crediamo, sia stato uno dei regali più apprezzati che i compianto e mai dimenticato Eric Carr abbia ricevuto, il modellino stupefacente delle sua batteria del 1988. Thierry è un vero kiss fanatico dal 1981 e ha iniziato a lavorare a questo libro molto tempo fa, ma presto si è reso conto che almeno il 50% di questi strumenti non sono più disponibili. Sono stati rubati, distrutti, persi, modificati, regalati o venduti, e quindi ...?? Ecco la folle idea: realizzare un modellino per tutti gli strumenti e le batterie e farli professionalmente fotografare. Potreste pensare che questa è una vera e propria bizzarra idea, e forse avete ragione, ma anche i KISS erano un'idea folle! Tutti gli strumenti saranno realizzati in scala ¼, la stessa utilizzata per le action figures di Destroyer realizzate dalla Sideshow. Sopra solo alcuni esempi del lavoro incredibile di Thierry.
