For those who doesn’t know him (???) Nicola was the founder of one of the finest KISS Fanzine in the world, Strike, and the founder of the KISS ARMY INTERNATIONAL.
Nico has organized and participated in numerous KISSKonventions worldwide with exceptional guests such as Ace, Peter, Eric Singer, Bruce and Vinnie
His photos were used by KISS for the booklet of ALIVEIII and the video KISSKonfidentatial.
Currently is setting the new KISSKonvention for February 2009.

Fury Rocks: negli anni'80 sembrava che un sacco di batteristi avrebbero voluto essere veloci come Dave Lombardo (Slayer), per esempio. Che cosa ne pensi?
Singer: io la chiamo le "Olimpiadi del batterista". E' come una gara a chi possa essere l'essere umano più veloce. Devo dire che ci sono alcuni sorprendenti batteristi oggi. Penso che il
motivo è che al giorno d'oggi ci sono degli strumenti per imparare molto megliori di quelli con cui sono cresciuto io. A quel tempo non avevamo DVD, video, MTV e tutte questi nastri di istruzioni e
lezioni private. Ora potete andare a prendere lezioni da parte di alcuni di questi batteristi semplicemente acquistando i loro corsi in DVD e che utilizzano programmi per computer. Ora avete le
migliori informazioni possibili a disposizione. Questi ragazzi hanno un sacco di grandi strumenti di apprendimento oggi. Ho anche capito che non ho mai avuto l'ambizione di essere il più veloce di
tutti. Questo non è importante per me. Lascio ai ragazzi che si godono ad esserlo. Quando li vedo mi fa impazzire la loro tecnica. Ammiro quello che fanno, ma non è qualcosa a cui

Fury Rocks: In the '80s it seemed that a lot of drummers wanted to be fast and faster like Dave Lombardo (SLAYER), for example. What do you think about it?
Singer: I call it the "Drummer Olympics." It's like who can be the fastest human in the race. I gotta say, there are some amazing drummers nowadays. I think the reason is that nowadays they
have much better tools to learn from than when I grew up. At that time we didn't have DVDs, videos, MTV and all these instruction tapes and private lessons. Now you can go and take lessons from some
of these drummers by buying their instruction DVDs, using computer programs. Now you have all this best information available to you. These kids have a lot of great learning tools nowadays. I also
realized that I never had the ambition to be faster than everybody. That is not important to me. I leave it up to the guys that enjoy it. When I see it, I am blown away by these guys' fantastic
technique. I admire what they do but it is not something that I aspire to do.

I KISS hanno recentemente rivelato i loro piani di entrare in studio il prossimo anno, con l'obbiettivo di registrare il follow-up di Psycho Circus del 1998 . Paul Stanley produrrà quello che sarà il
primo album della band da dieci anni a questa parte. Questo può essere uno shock per fans dei KISS, dal momento che negli ultimi anni il bassista Gene Simmons è stato onesto sulla sua mancanza di

KISS recently revealed their plans to hit the studio next year in order to record the follow-up to 1998's Psycho Circus. Paul Stanley will oversee production
duties on the album—the band's first record in over a decade. This may come as a shock to KISS diehards, since in the past few years bassist Gene Simmons has been honest about his lack of enthusiasm
regarding making new tunes in such a volatile climate for the music business. However, KISS will be back in the studio cranking out the jams in early 2009.
Distribution plans haven't been outlined yet for the forthcoming, yet-to-be-titled offering. However, it will feature guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer in addition to Simmons and
Stanely.
Coming on the heels of their 35th anniversary tour, which rocked across Europe all summer, KISS will most likely plot a jaunt for North America in 2009 in order to promote the album. They'll no doubt
keep the gin cold and the rock warm!

La mia ultima session per BK3 è stata con John Corabi. Avevamo lavorato su questo brano ancora all'inizio di quest'anno, suona molto UNION. Un grande riff e molto rock di sicuro.
Gli UNION fans non saranno di certo delusi! Ho finito con i miei ospiti cantanti per ora, ma ho ancora una sorpresa in serbo che vi farò sapere entro la fine di questo mese.

ONE LIVE KISS & KISS IKONS REMINDERS
Come vi avevo anticipato giorni fa sia ONE LIVE KISS che KISS IKONS sono arrivati sul mercato Europeo.
Attualmente solo alcuni canali distributivi hanno già i due prodotti, ma da domani dovrebbero essere reperibili ovunque in Italia.
As I anticipated days ago both ONE LIVE KISS and KISS IKONS arrived on the European market.
Currently only some distribution channel have the two products but starting from tomorrow you may will be able to get them everywhere in Europe (and Italy of course)

CONCERT LIVE 2X £20
Concert live, la società inglese che ha registrato e commercializzato i CD's durante l'ALIVE35 Tour, offre per tutto il periodo natalizio due concerti a £20 anzichè a £30.
Dei tanti concerti disponibili suggerisco sicuramente quello di Parigi che per intensità e qualità di registrazione è il migliore.
Un altro titolo potrebbe essere Stoccolma per la ragione opposta, ovvero per sentire i numerosi errori che i ragazzi hanno fatto, a partire da Gene che urla "All right Helsinkyyyyy" (ma erano a Stoccolma!) ad Eric che chiude anzi tempo Strutter e costringe Paul a inventarsi un numero per riprendere il pezzo...da avere!!!
Concert live, the UK based company that recorded and sold the ALIVE35 Tour CD's at the venues, is offering now two concerts at £20 instead of £30 for all the xmas period.
Among the available concerts personally I would suggest the one from Paris that's best for sound quality and KISS performance.
Another choice could be Stockholm for the opposite reason, meaning that the guys made a lot of mistakes, starting from Gene yelling "All right Helsinky" (they were in Stockholm!) to Eric closing before time Strutter forcing Paul to make a number to get it back on track...a really must have!!!
